We are thrilled to be able to introduce you to the Issy Bears collection by the amazingly talented Carole Richardson. These one of a kind, wonderful bears are made by Carole in the traditional way, using only the finest fabrics including; alpaca, mohair, suede and vintage velvet. Carole also creates each bear's collar from scratch and the bears are filled with steel shot and other lovely stuff, to make them heavy and incredibly poseable. Their arms, legs and necks are all jointed. As you can see from the below pictures, all the bears are made and weighted in such a way that they can sit, stand and even wave. All heights of bears are based on their length from head to hind paws, when standing. The bears are, like all of us, shorter when sitting down.

All the bears you'll see on this page have been created exclusively for Artyfax, so you won't find them anywhere else.
